Electric galvanized
Steel is easy to rust in air, water or soil, or even completely destroy. I. principle:
Because zinc is not easily changed in dry air, a dense, alkaline zinc carbonate film can be formed on the surface in humid air, which can effectively protect the interior from corrosion. And when, for some reason, the coating is damaged and not too large steel substrate is exposed, the zinc and steel matrix form microcells, so that the steel substrate becomes a cathode and is protected.
Ii. Performance features:
1. The zinc coating is thick, with fine, uniform and non-porous crystals and good corrosion resistance;
2. The zinc coating obtained by electroplating is relatively pure and corrodes slowly in the fog such as acid and alkali, which can effectively protect the steel matrix.
3. After chromic acid passivation, the zinc coating forms white, color, military green, beautiful and generous, with certain decorative properties;
4. Because the zinc coating has good ductility, it can be formed by cold punching, rolling and bending without damaging the coating.

Hot dip zinc
I. overview:
Hot dip zinc is an excellent coating method for protecting steel matrix. It is in the state of liquid zinc, after a rather complex physical and chemical action, on the iron and steel not only coated with a thick layer of pure zinc, but also produced a zinc-ferroalloy layer. This plating method not only has the corrosion resistance characteristic of electrogalvanizing, but also has the zinc-ferroalloy layer. It also has strong corrosion resistance which can't be compared with that of electrogalvanizing. Therefore, this plating method is especially suitable for various strong acid, alkali fog and other corrosive environment.
Ii. Principle:
The hot galvanizing layer is formed by zinc in three steps in a high temperature liquid:
1. The surface of iron base is dissolved by zinc solution to form zinc-ferroalloy phase layer;
2. The zinc ion in the alloy layer further diffuses to the matrix to form the zinc-iron soluble layer;
3. The surface of the alloy layer is surrounded by the zinc layer.
Iii. Performance features:
(1) the steel surface is covered with a thick, dense, pure zinc layer, which can avoid the contact between the steel matrix and any corrosive solution and protect the steel matrix from corrosion. In general atmosphere, the surface of zinc layer forms a thin and dense layer of zinc oxide surface, which is difficult to dissolve in water, so it has a certain protective effect on the steel matrix. If zinc oxide forms insoluble zinc salts with other components of the atmosphere, the corrosion resistance is better.
(2) it has a fe-zn alloy layer, which combines with compactness and presents special corrosion resistance in Marine salt fog atmosphere and industrial atmosphere;
(3) due to strong binding, zinc-iron is soluble with strong abrasion resistance;
(4) due to the good ductility of zinc, its alloy layer is firmly attached to the steel base, so hot-plated parts can be formed by cold punching, rolling, drawing and bending without damaging the coating;
(5) steel structures after galvanizing, equivalent to an annealing treatment, can effectively improve the mechanical properties of steel matrix, and eliminate the stress of steel forming welding, for steel structure for turning processing.
(6) the surface of hot-dip galvanized parts is bright and beautiful.
(7) the pure zinc layer is the most plastic galvanized layer in hot galvanizing. Its properties are basically similar to pure zinc and it is malleable, so it is flexible.
Iv. Application scope:
The application of hot dip galvanization has been expanded with the development of industry and agriculture. Therefore, hot dip galvanized products in the industry, such as chemical equipment, oil processing, Marine exploration, metal structure, electricity, shipbuilding, etc.), agriculture (such as sprinkler irrigation, dim room), construction (such as water and gas transportation, wire casing, scaffolding, housing, etc.), Bridges, transportation, etc., have been widely used in recent years.
